personal info

I was born in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, the oldest of 5 children. I went to Cambridge Christian School for grades 1 through 8, and Woodland Christian High School for 9 through 12. I now live in Hamilton, New Jersey with my wife, Michelle, and two cats, Widget and Smudge. We have been married for 12 years now, are quite content with our DINK status (the cats are more than enough, believe me!).

I work as a system administrator for the Computer Science Department at Princeton University in (interestingly enough) Princeton. We've been in the Princeton area since January of 1999, and life had long settled into what generally passes for normal. Then we bought a house. That was the latter part of February, 2004, and it's been non-stop fun since!

Academically, I am a graduate of the University of Guelph, where I received a specialized honours degree in Computing and Information Science. The information part of the degree is definitely the dominant, as I seem to be on a never-ending quest for (OK, not all of it, but mostly) useless information.

Aside from computing, I do have other interests that tend to capture what little spare time I have. I could go on, but that might make the other parts of thie site pointless... ;-)
